February Favourites
Hello everyone ! Its finally spring :) annd as per usual I'm very late with my monthly favourites, due to school completely taking over my life, so apologies for the lack of posts!
Right lets get into it,
1.Lacura Hydro-Urea Hand Cream
I honestly didn't think this would end up in my favourites at all for last month! The Aldi beauty brand Lacura, has been getting a lot of raves on their products! Recently my hands got very dry, and I picked this up thinking nothing of it, and I was really surprised, a rich moisturiser, that kept my hands soft for a budget friendly price! 3/4 euros!
2.Suddenly Madame Glamour
Another budget product! This perfume has been compared to Chanel Mademoiselle, and you'll never believe where its from.. Lidl. yes lidl! I absolutely adore this! It really does smell like the Chanel and for such an amazing price! Brilliant dupe.
3.Essence Beauty Beats Shimmer Powder
I have been loving this powder to add a bit of glow to my makeup especially for that 'fresh spring look'
Really well pigmented for essence, and again the price just tops it off
4.Mac Girl About Town Lipstick
For my first MAC lipstick this has been making me buy more! Gorgeous fuchsia pink colour, not completely matte, so I find it wearable during the day, and gives a nice subtle sheen to the lips and aswell as a pop of colour.
A short post, but hope you enjoyed it :)
Also could anyone tell me a website for cheap makeup storage, would be very helpful, thanks !

Whats on My Android
Hello everyone! So I have had some serious bloggers block recently , and I eventually decided on this, after watching a load of 'whats on my Iphone' videos on youtube. Now I was debating whether this would be blog worthy or not but I normally find these type of videos interesting, so I somewhat hope you do aswell!
I have a Huawei ascend g510 in black. The amount of phones I have gone through is ridiculous, but I must say without a doubt this has definitely been the best one I've had .
-Clean Master(Tap Boost)- This basically gets rid of any junk on your phone and frees RAM, so if your phone is going slow it cleans it up! Really handy -AppDetox- This app has literally saved me from failing my exams. It does exactly what it says, so you pick the apps you want to 'detox' from and the length of time, all those apps will then be locked so no matter what you do it will not let you get onto them. Say goodbye to procrastination!
-Wunderlist(the red app with a star)- An app for making to-do lists
My Photography Folder
-Tags for Likes (easier way on instagram to put up hashtags on your photos)
-#square- This apps just lets you put up a full photo on instagram, without the crop, by putting a white box around it
-Square Instapic-Similar to the last one , you can just move the picture around in the white box
-Instamirror- You can mirror your pictures with this app
-Tabs- This is the ultimate guitar app, which you do have to pay for but I think it was only like 1 euro?
Well worth it for any guitar players, shows lots of chords and tabs for songs!
-Shazam- A well known music recognition app, put your phone up to a radio and it will find the song for you
-Mp3 Music Download- Download free songs!
-8tracks- Again another well know music streaming app like spotify! Love the variety of playlists on it!
-Netflix- My good ole netflix! For anyone whos been living under a rock, its a movie app/website
For those times when I'm bored..
-Flappy Bird- Yes, I followed the posse, which was the worst decision ever, because its so addictive, hence why it was deleted off the app store!
-Hay Day- Hahaha this is embarrassing.. it's like farmville , have your own farm and you take care of it, strangely good haha?
-Ticketmaster
-Entertainment.ie Cinema- Irish Cinema Listings!
-Google Translate
-Wiki How
I know this post was nowhere beauty related, but I hope ye somewhat enjoyed it haha?
Thanks for reading :)

How I Maintain my Blonde Hair
Hello, from a wet and windy evening! It's been shocking weather in Ireland atm. My hair is blonde as you can see above in the picture, it is not my natural hair colour at all.. I have never got my hair dyed at the hairdressers, I have always used box dye. Because the upkeep of blonde hair is so expensive, here is my little routine to stop brassiness and the dreaded dark roots from appearing (sort of..)
John Freida Tone Correcting Shampoo
I only really started using a purple shampoo a month ago, and oh wow has it changed my life. My hair had that awful brassiness to it, and it is meant to basically reduce brassiness and make your blonde brighter, so I use this once a week, leave it in my hair for 5 mins.It also helps with reducing the appearence of my roots, which saves me from dying my hair every month.. Although the purple shampoos are brilliant , they are very damaging and drying, which is why I only use this once a week!
Pantene Smooth And Sleek Shampoo
The days I'm not using my purple shampoo, I will use this.
This has been a favourite of mine for aages. I think, because the purple shampoo damages my hair, I use this to kind of repair the hair again. It leaves my hair so soft and shiny and really brings out the blonde in my hair
L'oreal Sublime Mousse Conditioner
I know probably the worst photo ever.. But haha, this is the Conditioner that actually came with my L'oreal Sublime Mousse Dye. It is a fairly intensive conditioner, and I always put this on after either of the shampoos, especially the purple shampoo, as it leaves my hair so dry.
It smells of royal jelly too, and gives amazing shine!
Hope you enjoyed this post :)

January Favourites
How is the first month of 2014 almost over, it went so quickly! And for a change I have new things in my favourites haha! My aim for favourites each month, is to put the posts up BEFORE the month ends, as unorganised me always leaves it to the middle of the next month...
These are my favourites
RT Expert Face Brush
Last year I had been debating over getting this brush, but my beauty guru of a brother(jokes) decided to get it for me for christmas... This brush is so worth the raves ! It makes my foundation look so flawess, its amazing! Read my full review here http://makeupmoob.blogspot.ie/2013/12/real-techniques-stippling-brush-vs.html
John Freida Tone Correcting Shampoo
Because having blonde hair is such an expensive upkeep, I had heard of purple shampoos and that they tone down brassiness. This shampoo is a very mild purple shampoo, so it subtly gets rid of my brassiness and kind of masks my roots in a way? I've really noticed a difference though! I will be doing a proper review soon
Nivea Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
I think my quest for the perfect eye makeup remover is over! This is so perfect for taking off my eye makeup, it doesn't leave my eyes red and sore, and takes off eye makeup really well! It also has a refreshing smell to it. Anyone with sensitive eyes, USE THIS!
Kate Moss 107 Lipstick
As a fellow Zoella fan, she wears this deep red lipstick all the time, so of course I had to buy it! I love the colour, and is actually really wearable compared to my classic red 110 lipstick.
Lush 'Popcorn' Lip Scrub
I don't think I've bought anything in Lush in years, so the other day as I was invited in by all the smells, I came across this lip scrub. My lips have always been very dry, and this has solved it! First of all the smell. Guys it smells of caramel and all that good stuff, I would actually eat it I could haha! But this leaves my lips soft and smelling of caramel!
Johnsons Extra Sensitive Makeup Wipes
I never ever used makeup wipes to take off my makeup, because off all the bad things I heard about them. Recently though I thought I'd be a bit bold some nights, and be lazy by taking off my makeup with these! I thought my face was going to react but it didn't! I was pleasently surprised,
Takes off makeup well!

MAC Girl About Town Lipstick
Hello ! Recently my friends kindly bought me the MAC Girl About Town Lipstick for my birthday. It was such a good Monday! I've been lusting over this for months but have always been debating over the price etc.
Here finally I'm able to review a MAC product :))
This lipstick is the amplified creme lipstick, so it is quite sheer, and very moisturising. My lips are normally very dry, but they didn't dry once this lipstick was on!
It is a fuchsia colour with blue undertones. I have been trying to find the perfect deep pink lipstick and this is definitely the one!
As all MAC lipsticks are, it is very pigmented. Love the sleek packaging, although there will always be one con.. the price (as expected)
All MAC lipsticks are 20 euros each which is fairly pricey for a lipstick, but I honestly think it is well worth it, especially if you're going to make good wear out of it and the quality is very good too!
I love how I can put this on lightly for the day and build it up for the night, so it is a very wearable lipstick
Hope you enjoyed this post :)

Beauty Favourites Of 2013
Happy New Year Everyone ! Welcome to my first post of 2014, its so weird to say it? The year has flown, and I have tried a lot of products through out the year, but I have found these to be absolute favourites!
Skin
My skin has changed a lot this year ! During the summer it was very oily and now at the moment its quite dry, but I've also suffered from those annoying sore spots too, and I have found the Simple Cleanser really good to take off my makeup and dirt on my face, leaving my face really fresh feeling! I don't really exfoliate every week, but when I do,
the St.Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish Fighting did the job! Although the exfoliants in this feel harsh on the face, it definitely removes all the bumps and dead skin cells on my face, and left my skin feeling so soft after!
And Finally, for those annoying spots, the well known Sudocrem came to the rescue, I use this every night on any blemishes, and it instantly drys out the blemish
Makeup Brushes
The famous real techniques brushes, really did it for me this year, and were really worth all the hype! I own the Blush Brush, Expert Face Brush and Stippling Brush, which all left me with great results when applying my makeup. I would honestly think these are almost like dupes for any high end makeup brushes ! Read my full review on the RT Brushes here http://makeupmoob.blogspot.ie/2013/12/real-techniques-stippling-brush-vs.html
Face/Base
The Revlon Colorstay will always be a winner to me ! I own the Normal/Dry Skin Formula, and I've been repurchasing this for almost 2 years now, and I am always so impressed with it. Great coverage, and a lovely light feel to it, although its 18 euros, its well worth it!
The Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer was a find for me back in October, when my Collection 2000 concealer had ran out! This is great for undereye circles, and really wakens them up!
I love my bronzer, and Hoola by Benefit has been my no.1 bronzer for the last couple of years, a nice natural bronze colour and gives a lovely glow to the face aswell as a good chiseled contour
Eyes
On an everyday basis, I would only use mascara, but for going out etc. these products have been brilliant!
Sleek I-Divine Palette Au Natural, a lovely range of bronzy colours, I use the brown colour everyday for my eyebrows, very well pigmented shadows to, read the full review here http://makeupmoob.blogspot.ie/2013/08/sleek-i-divine-au-naturel-palette.html
I have always been so bad at doing liquid eyeliner, but the Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner, has made it so much easier, it's almost like a marker!
The No7 Extreme Length and the(very faded) Maybelline Falsies Mascara have been my two everyday mascaras this year! They leave my lashes really long aswell as volumised!
Lips
Finally for lips, I wasn't really to adventurous with bold lips this year, but I really do want to venture out to them this year! I had stuck to good ole lipbalm, Carmex! My lips usually get very chapped and dry, but leaves my lips soft and moisturised and love the tingly feeling it leaves on your lips!
And thats it !
Hope you enjoyed this post, and once again Happy New Year! Thank you for reading my blog for the past year, and I hope you enjoy my future posts
Thanks :D

Real Techniques Stippling Brush VS Expert Face Brush
So today, I'm going to do a post on the Real Techniques Stippling and Expert Face Brush, which are well raved about brushes here on blogger and youtube!
These are both amazing brushes, and here are my opinions on both!
Stippling Brush
I bought this brush before the expert face brush in boots for 15.99 euros
It is a duo-fibred brush, and the brush bristles itself are very soft on the face! It is a flat topped brush.
This is supposed to give an airbrush look to your face, and I apply this in a 'stippling' and circular motion.
Expert Face Brush
For Christmas I finally got this brush, which I've been meaning to buy for ages! Santa knew me too well..
This cost 13.99 euros, which is that bit cheaper than the stippling brush
The head to this brush is more round, and again is duo-fibred !
I apply my foundation with this brush in a patted way all over the skin, rather than circular.
Differences
- Price
- Finish
I think the Stippling is a small bit streaky on the skin, and you have to blend the foundation in more.
I'm using the stippling brush more now for cream blush or bronzer!
- Coverage
Whereas for the stippling, it gives very good coverage even for the smallest amount of foundation.
- Colour
Here is a picture of me, wearing the Rimmel 25 hour foundation, applied by on the right ,by the stippling brush and on the left by the expert face brush!
All in all , I think for me, the expert face brush wins! Its so easy to apply foundation and leaves a gorgeous finish to the skin, and plus its cheaper haha!
But the stippling brush is equally a good brush for foundation too but it doesn't leave as good a finish. I think the stippling brush is more suited for cream blush and bronzer!
Hope this post was helpful in some way!
